How to measure angles?




What are Angles?

  • Angles are formed when two straight lines meet or cross each other.

  • The point where the lines meet is called the vertex.

  • The size of an angle is measured in degrees (°).

Basic Angle Types
  • Right Angle: Exactly 90° (Like a perfect "L" shape)

  • Acute Angle: Less than 90° (Small and sharp)

  • Obtuse Angle: More than 90° (Wide and open)

Advanced Angle Rules
  • Straight Line: Angles add up to 180°.

  • Vertically Opposite: Equal angles (Look for the "X" shape).
